chicken and dressing casserole

Boil 1 stewing hen with onion and salt.
Take meat – cut in fairly large pieces.
1 can cream of mushroom
1 cup chicken broth
8 slices cracked wheat bread (diced)
4 eggs well beaten
1 tsp sage
Pepper to taste

Mix all together with chicken pieces and put in grand casserole. Leave in fridge overnight or at least 6 hours. Make gravy out of remaining broth by thickening and adding salt & pepper. Serve casserole with gravy.
Bake casserole at 350 degrees 40-50 minutes until puffy and done.
