ice box rolls

from Lola
2 TBS yeast
¼ cup warm water
1/3 cup sugar (scant)
2 tsp salt
1 cup warm water (over shortening)
½ cup shortening
3 beaten eggs
4 ½ cups sifted flour

Mix all ingredients well. Let rise until double in bulk. Knead down and place in ice box. This is a sticky dough, but after icing in ice mix overnite or several hour is easy to handle on floured board.
