pear butterscotch crisp

10 pears
½ cup brown sugar, packed
½ cup flour
¼ tsp salt
½ tsp cinnamon
¼ cup butter

Heat oven to 425 degrees. Arrange pear halves, cut side down in greased pie plate. Mix sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon with fork. Work in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle thickly over and around pears. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until crumbs are golden brown. Serve warm with Ice Cream or chilled custard sauce.
