sand tarts

½ cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 ¾ cup flour
1 tsp baking powder

White one egg

1 TBS sugar
¼ tsp cinnamon

Cream butter add sugar gradually and egg well beaten. Then add flour, mixed and sifted with baking powder. Chill. Toss ½ mixture on a floured board and roll 1/8” thick. Shape with a cutter. Brush over with white of one egg and sprinkle with sugar mixed with cinnamon.
Bake 8 minutes in slow oven.
