Temp: 350 degrees for 5/10 minutes
Sift:
1 cup sugar
Beat until soft
½ cup butter
Add the sugar gradually. Blend these ingredients until creamy. Beat in:
One (1) egg
Combine:
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup sour cream
Sift before measuring
2 cups all purpose flour
Resift with:
1/3 tsp soda
½ tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
Add the flour to butter mixture in 3 parts alternately with thirds of the cream. Beat completely after each addition. Chill dough for 12 hours. Roll on lightly floured board. Cut into shapes and place on greased sheet.
