wesson oil cake

3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup oil
1 cup hot water + 1/2 cup cocoa dissolved
1 cup buttermilk (or 2 tsp vinegar + 1 cup milk)
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla

300 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour
